The stakes are high for Luciano Spalletti in his second away match in charge of the visitors, who will start the game level on points with the team immediately outside of the two qualification places in the table, Ukraine.
Defeat would take the Azzurri closer to the prospect of a winner-takes-all game away to Ukraine on the final matchday of the group, although Spalletti’s side are guaranteed a playoff place if they finish outside of the top two because of their UEFA Nations League ranking.
