Only hours are missing for a boxing match that will steal all eyes in Latin America and the United States, because at the T-Mobile in Las Vegas Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez has a high-flying fight with Kazakhstan’s Gennady Golovskin, an evening that is promoted as a trilogy after the two previous fights between the two.
GGG already fought Canelo in 2017, in a confrontation that ended in a draw, to later clash a year later, again in Las Vegas, where it would be the Mexican’s turn to prevail in the bout.
Now it will be the third time they face each other in a fight that was delayed due to the pandemic but will be experienced as it should be with a full house and millions of spectators watching the evening.
The fight for the undisputed super middleweight title will not be the only one, as several bouts are being prepared before the main event, where Canelo is the favorite against the 40-year-old fighter from Kazakhstan.
