The one game which broke the trend of under 2.5 goals was Paraguay’s opening game victory against the bottom of the group Bolivia. Despite falling behind after 10 minutes, Paraguay were able to fight back against a 10-man Bolivia to seal a 3-1 win.
Eduardo Vargas has had a cracking start to this summer’s Copa America. The 31-year-old has found the back of the net twice in Chile’s opening three games. The only game he did not score in was their 1-0 victory over Bolivia and even still he was able to provide the assist for the only goal of the game.
