The NFL season kicks off tomorrow with the matchup between the Rams and Bills, but it won’t be just another game, as it will mark the return of Von Miller to his former home. Now with Buffalo, the defensive back will face Los Angeles for the first time.
NFL season kicks off with Rams vs Bills showdown
The defensive back showed his love for the Rams as he would never say anything bad about his former team, as “they came in and got me at a time when I really needed it, they rejuvenated me.”
Miller also acknowledged that he questioned whether he had done the right thing in leaving the team that saw him shine for so long and gave him his second Super Bowl championship.
However, McDermott was instrumental in his arrival in Buffalo as the defensive back recalled him telling him “I know you don’t have the views, but you’ll learn to love it here.”
After all, the NFL’s active leader in active quarterback catches says he is “in love” with his new home. “I feel at home, I’ve fallen in love with this place and it gets better every day.”
For this season, the defensive back is expected to have shining moments, just as he did with the Rams and be a leader in what many consider, the best defense for this season.
For this season, Buffalo, along with Kansas City, is expected to dominate the American Conference and although it is too early to define what will happen, the Bills have the best chances to reach and, above all, win the Super Bowl.
