NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement that Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin is in critical condition in a Cincinnati hospital after suffering a dramatic injury in his team’s game against the Bengals in week 17 of the league.
“Hamlin received immediate medical attention in the field from the team, independent medical staff and local paramedics. He was then transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition,” the commissioner said in a statement.
