He is Damar Hamlin, NFL player who is torn between life and death.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement that Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin is in critical condition in a Cincinnati hospital after suffering a dramatic injury in his team’s game against the Bengals in week 17 of the league.

“Hamlin received immediate medical attention in the field from the team, independent medical staff and local paramedics. He led the team with 90 tackles and two interceptions as a red-jersey sophomore and was named an honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

The team’s star was named team captain before his final season, in which he led his team with 67 tackles and seven interrupted passes.

He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed the contract as a four-year rookie at that institution in May 2021.

At first, he was on the bench, but then he earned the starting job in 2022 after the injury of Micah Hyde, who affected his neck and could not continue in the competition.
