Colts (4-6) face one of the closest Monday Night Football games of the season as they take on the Steelers with a 3-7 record. Both teams have been playing better the last two weeks and are coming off a win and a loss.
Since changing coaches, the Colts have shown great improvement, going from being the worst offensive team in the NFL to 20th in production and, although they lost to the Eagles, it wasn’t until the last second that Philadelphia was able to win by a single point.
Pittsburgh recovered TJ Watt and this is very noticeable in the defense that has been dragging, even so the doubts remain there since last week they allowed 37 points in the divisional duel at home against Bengals.
The Colts are 2.5 point handicap favorites today, but this does not mean they will have an easy game, as Steelers are playing their last chance for the postseason and as underdogs they are quite dangerous.
The big advantage Indianapolis could have tonight is that they face the second worst through the air defense in the entire league, as they average 272.1 yds allowed to the opposing QB. Matt Ryan while he hasn’t had a good year and doesn’t have the best receiving corps, this could be a good matchup thanks to the fact that he is averaging 271.4 yds.
