“ZERO respect”: former NFL QB Ryan Fitzpatrick DISRESPECTS Tom Brady and calls him an idiot.

tom Brady is generally known as one of the most professional soccer players to ever play in the NFL, the quarterback is extremely competitive and is known to hold a grudge as Michael Jordan did. His resume speaks for itself and it is no surprise that he is a revered and respected sports figure by his opponents and teammates off the field, however, there is one player that Brady has never shown respect to for reasons unknown to us all.

ryan Fitzpatrick former NFL quarterback who played for the Miami Dolphins, Washington Commanders, and other teams played for 17 years in the league but, despite his longevity, never got along with Tom Brady. It has become customary for quarterbacks to meet after the game on the field, shake hands and hug or hug and congratulate each other on their performance. That’s sportsmanship and it’s much more important than wins and losses.”It just pisses me off”: Ryan Fitzpatrick can’t stand Tom Brady

In a recent interview, Ryan Fitzpatrick addressed the painful relationship between him and Tom. He made it clear that he wasn’t a fan of his and added another twist by stating that the comments Tom made on ‘The Shop’ hosted by Maverick Carter were directed at him and not Derek Carr. The context behind this is the comments made by Brady stating that in the off-season prior to joining Tampa Bay, there was another team in the contention that he was considering joining and had almost signed a contract with, but they backed out at the last minute.

The reason Ryan believes Tom is talking about the Dolphins and referring to him is that we know Brady wanted to co-own the team while playing for them as well. The team had many conversations with the quarterback about going there, but it didn’t work out. Keep in mind this was before the team selected Tua Tagovailoa, so Ryan Fitzpatrick was the starter at the time.

As for Fitzpatrick’s fight with Brady, he directly denied that Tom had any sense of respect for him, “No. Zero respect, he would NEVER shake my hand,” claims the former quarterback. He didn’t hold back and added, “I’ve told this story before, but he just annoyed I’m in Buffalo, playing in New England, we’re getting our asses kicked every year, we’re getting beat. Finally, in 2011, we knocked them off. It was right at the beginning of the season. We had this great start and threw 5 INTs in the game, which was just wonderful to see every single one of them. Just wonderful to see.” but it was what followed after the game that irritated Ryan the most.

“No handshake, no quarterback in the middle of the field, ‘Where are the cameras? OK, hey, stay healthy buddy,’ pat me on the head and let me go. He just ran off. It really bothered me because there was no respect there. Every time I played with him after that, I said, ‘OK, let’s make this guy respect me.” Ryan concludes.

Unfortunately, Ryan ranks second on the list of quarterbacks who have lost the most games to Tom, but the good thing for him was that in his last NFL game, he beat Tom Brady in the 2019 regular-season finale. That year, the Dolphins were purposely tanking, as they wanted a shot at Tua Tagovailoa, who was the first pick in that year’s draft. But what was sweeter than the win was the fact that Ryan and Tom finally shook hands after the game.

The former quarterback admits he initiated it but at least it happened. Tom Brady is the ultimate in disrespecting an opponent in terms of sportsmanship, but there was something between him and Fitzpatrick, maybe someday we’ll find out the real reason. Knowing the competitor that Tom is, the only possible reason he may have been reluctant to face Ryan Fitzpatrick after games is that the quarterback is a constant reminder of the game in which Tom gave away 5 interceptions.
